There are plenty of curated glamping experiences out there (just browse our website to find a few), but when you’re looking for the perfect spot – whether you want to go out on your own adventure with a tent from home, or simply turn up and have everything ready for you – you can spend hours upon hours looking for your next holiday destination.
But worry no further, as we’ve done the hard work for you and compiled a list of some of our absolute favourite places. From woodland hiking to sun-drenched beaches, these are some of the most beautiful camping locations across Europe.
San Biagio, Lake Garda, Italy
This small peninsula of just a 90-mile circumference is the perfect spot from which to discover all this naturally beautiful – and well-renowned – area of Italy has to offer. Set up your glamping tent on one of the many waterside locations, and simply walk across the sand to get to the mainland. Located along the edge of the Alps, Lake Garda is known to be a go-to spot for many celebrities, so whether you want to soak up the culture by enjoying the architecture, visit a local nighttime market, embark on a hike, and go mountain biking, horseriding, swim or play tennis or golf – or want to eat good food to your heart’s content – this lakeside gem might just be the spot for you.

La Source, Saint-Pierre-d’Argençon, France
Provence has long been a must-visit European destination for many. Offering an insight into the idyllic French countryside, this sunny spot is a great location from which to discover the gorgeous scenery as well as enjoy great food, wine, and – if you time it right – marvel at the sprawling lavender fields. Saint-Pierre-d’Argençon is surrounded by woodland, which means it’s great for all wildlife lovers, so pack your hiking gear and feel truly at one with nature.
And when you’re ready to unwind after your day’s adventure, relax and unwind at La Source, enjoying freshly-made meals at the on-site restaurant while taking in the panoramic mountain views.

Three Cliffs Bay, South Wales
Known around the UK as one of the country’s most beautiful beaches, Wales’ Three Cliffs Bay offers visitors a wild take on the classic seaside experience. Boasting a stunning shoreline of salt marsh and sand dunes, head straight to the beach for an often-secluded picnic spot, or wander the jawdropping four-mile clifftop and woodland walk on which you’ll also come across Pennard Castle and three limestone cliffs. A nearby holiday park offers glamping facilities, or grab your own tent and set up here to enjoy great food, a hard-to-beat view, and even borrow beach and entertainment equipment to round out your stay.

Whitepod, Valais, Switzerland
There aren’t too many spots in which you can enjoy a luxurious glamping experience at 1400m altitude but Whitepod has created a truly unique experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The concept behind the glamping site is to offer an experience that combines luxury with environmental conservation, focusing in on local ingredients, controlled water and energy usage, and consistent recycling.
The cosy pods each come equipped with everything you could want to fulfill your holiday needs, from essentials such as a coffee machine, hairdryer, and pellet stove to luxurious extras such as a minibar, your own terrace with a panoramic view, an iPad with Netflix, daily breakfast delivery or breakfast buffet and free access to the sauna and Swedish bath. Plus, nearby you can discover a local wine estate, forest bathing, hiking, hypnosis, paragliding, a husky experience, and so much more!
